El Corpiño.

El Corpiño, tiene sus antecedente de la necesidad que presentaban las mujeres, de sujetar los pechos, y en sus inicios era una camisa o blusa con cordones, que hacía las veces de lo que hoy día se conoce con el nombre de  sujetador, sostén o brassier.  Los estudios históricos  revelan, que el sostén ha sido utilizado  por las mujeres  desde siempre, esto ligado a la estética de cada época. Como mujer podría pensar, que en el principio la necesidad de esta prenda fue por protección y pudor, pero posteriormente,  permitió que las actividades diarias se realizaran con más comodidad.

The bodice, has its antecedents of the necessity that women presented, to hold the breasts, and in its beginnings it was a shirt or blouse with laces, that did the times of what nowadays is known with the name of bra, bra or bra. Historical studies reveal that the bra has been used by women forever, this linked to the aesthetics of each age. As a woman I could think, that in the beginning the need for this garment was for protection and modesty, but later, it allowed the daily activities to be done with more comfort.

 

En la medida  que esta prenda  evoluciona,   no sólo cumple las funciones antes mencionadas, de mejorar la estética en la mujer, sino que también, se le ha da uso para la  seducción.

Aunque no es, sino hasta el siglo XV que se inventa el sujetador que conocemos hoy día.

To the extent that this garment evolves, it not only fulfils the aforementioned functions, to improve the aesthetics in women, but also, it has been used for seduction.
But it is not until the 15th century that the bra that we know today is invented.

 

En la antigüedad llevar sujetador era sinónimo de civilización, ya que las mujeres pobres (bárbaras)  llevaban los pechos al aire libre.  Las esposas de los faraones y de la nobleza en el antiguo Egipto usaban sujetador,  el cual  consistía   en un conjunto de dos piezas separadas. La parte superior, era un corpiño corto y ceñido con mangas ajustadas la cual se sujetaba con cordones.

In antiquity wearing bra was synonymous with civilization, as poor women (barbarians) wore their breasts outdoors. The wives of the pharaohs and the nobility in ancient Egypt wore a bra, which consisted of a set of two separate pieces. The upper part was a short, tight bodice with tight sleeves which was fastened with laces.

Sin embargo, en el monoico antiguo, el vestido consistía en una prenda corta similar a un delantal redondeado que llegaba hasta los muslos el cual se llevaba encima de una falda más larga y acampanada, y que iba adornada en la parte mas baja, con volantes o capas. La parte superior estaba formada por un corpiño rígido ceñido a la cintura, el cual pronunciaba y alzaba los senos y sobre éste, una capa corta sin mangas.

 

However, in the old monoecious, the dress consisted of a short garment similar to a rounded apron that reached to the thighs which was carried over a longer skirt and flared, and which was adorned in the lower part, with ruffles or layers. The upper part was formed by a stiff bodice that was snug at the waist, which pronounced and raised the breasts and on this one, a short sleeveless layer.
